When Cyclone Amphan devastated South 24 Parganas on 20th May 2020, Youth Forum mobilised within 24 hours and launched two relief operations:
Youth Forum delivered essential food, drinking water, medicine, and hygiene items to 850 families in Kalidaspur Village, Chotomollakhali Panchayat. The operation was acknowledged by Mr. Mrinal Kanti Rano (District Magistrate), Mr. Sujan Dutta (ADM), Mr. Sourav Mitra (BDO), Mr. Debabrata Debnath (Civil Defence), and Mr. Debashis Dutta (DDSI).
A follow-up relief mission provided emergency food, tarpaulins, and sanitary kits to 200 families in Krishnadaspur, G Plot Panchayat, Patharpratima Block, acknowledged by Mr. Rathin Dey (BDO, Patharpratima).
Together, both phases reached over 1,050 families and demonstrated Youth Forum's ability to mount large-scale, officially acknowledged disaster relief operations in the most challenging field conditions.
